Dr. Robert Shettler

Rev. Dr. Robert Shettler is the Founding Executive Director of the Florida Leadership Center and serves as a statewide development leader for Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO) and Overseas Council, a ministry of United World Mission.

For more than 40 years, Bob served as a local pastor in 5 churches across the State of Florida, retiring as senior pastor from the First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville in 2019. During his ministry, Bob has actively served the campus communities at Seminole Community College, Valencia Community College, Central Florida Community College, Santa Fe College, Rollins College, and The University of Florida.

At the University of Florida and Santa Fe College, Bob has led campus and community-wide events with The Veritas Forum, and over his ministry career, Bob has led events with Billy and Franklin Graham, Lloyd Ogilvie, R C Sproul, E V Hill, Louis Palau, Bill Bright, John Lenox, Vince Vitale, Tony Campolo, Len Sweet, and Robert Schuller.  

Bob holds degrees from Georgetown College, Eastern Kentucky University, Reformed Theological Seminary, and Drew University and has studied at Princeton Theological Seminary, Oxford University and Cambridge University.  Bob and his wife, Connie, have two daughters and five grandchildren.

Asa Walker, MDiv

Asa serves as Community Development Pastor at Westside Baptist Church in Gainesville, FL. He holds a bachelor degree in communications from the University of Florida and a Master of Divinity from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and has attended seminars in global apologetics at the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics, Wycliffe Hall, University of Oxford. He works with students on middle and high school campuses and trains in leadership.


Jeff Moody

Jeff serves as in-house consultant for the global non-profit Frontier Ventures and as a business consultant for Resolute Management. He has held leadership roles in NextMove and the Ralph D. Winter Launch Lab, both Frontier Venture initiatives. He has led local missions mobilization in his hometown of Gainesville FL, where he has served as local church missions pastor and co-coordinates his local Perspectives class. Jeff and his wife, Kem, have 3 adult children.

Connor Nickels, MD

Connor, a Memphis native, is an emergency medicine physician, with specialty fellowship training in emergency ultrasound.  She is currently an attending physician and clinical associate professor in emergency medicine, at the University of Florida in Gainesville. 


Mason Alley

Mason is a management consultant and the founder of Resolute Management, a company committed to helping organizations grow by learning and leveraging proven frameworks that improve their strategy, operations, and culture. He has a background in the entertainment industry, faith-based organizations, and technology and lives in Gainesville, FL.

Katherine Gratto, PhD

Katherine is an Executive Director for Sira-a local faith-based non-profit organization. Her employment experience includes working in K-12 Administration and as a faculty member at the University of Florida. She has also served on local non-profit boards and several church leadership and teaching roles.


Tygh Bailes

Tygh Bailes is a real estate professional with DR Horton, the largest homebuilder in the United States. Prior to his work in real estate, Tygh served as co-founder and president of a collegiate apparel company, Director of Grassroots Programs at the Leadership Institute in Arlington VA, and as Associate Director for the White House Center for Faith-based and Community Initiatives under President George W. Bush. Tygh lives in Gainesville, FL with his wife, Stephanie, and their children, Landon and Waverly.
